About Our Adventure

My husband and I began our adventure in 2005, living Tacoma, WA.  After 4 years, and the birth of our first child, we moved to Germany, and have lived here since.  We now have three amazing children; 6yr old Tootsie, 4yr old TurkeyBoy, and 1yr old Tiny.  I recently began homeschooling Tootsie and Turkey, which is an adventure of its own!  

I'm a musician at heart, and enjoy playing the piano whenever I get a chance.  I also maintain my board certification in music therapy, and have a heart for assisting children and adults with developmental disabilities. 

We love to travel.  To date, we have traveled to many parts of Germany, as well as France, Austria, Belgium, England, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Egypt, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.  I've also flown with my children on numerous trans-Atlantic flights back to the states to visit our family. 

I feel so blessed to have been able to see the places we have, and also to share them with our children.  They may not remember all the details about our trips, but I hope that we are giving them a sense of adventure, boundless curiosity, and an appreciation for other cultures...not to mention all the map skills they're gaining.  Now...if they would only look at the map right-side-up :)
